LeisureTime Golf Cars began in 1987 when Bill Noehl repaired a friend’s ill-running golf car from his backyard in rural New Hampton. After buying, refurbishing, and selling a few used E-Z-GO cars, word quickly spread and demand for service, rentals, and leases grew.
As the business grew, Bill steadily expanded inventory to meet customer needs. By 1991, the operation had outgrown Bill & Linda’s backyard, prompting a move to its current 32,000-square-foot facility on Linn Ave (Old Hwy 63) south of New Hampton, Iowa.
Bill’s son Nick grew up around golf cars and joined the business full-time after graduation, learning every aspect of the operation from the service shop to the sales floor. In 2018, Bill retired, and Nick and Leslie purchased the business. LeisureTime Golf Cars has continued to grow each year, and in 2022, their son Connor joined the team, proudly becoming the third generation at LeisureTime Golf Cars.
