LeisureTime Golf Cars began in 1987 when a friend asked owner Bill Noehl to repair an ill-running golf car. He worked out of his backyard in rural New Hampton to complete that first service job. Soon after, Bill purchased 2 used EZ-GO golf cars, fixed them up, and sold them locally.
Word quickly spread of Bill's handy work with golf cars, and soon the requests for repairs and service were coming in more frequently. Golf course managers began calling on Bill, too. As the demand for lease contracts and rental golf cars emerged, he slowly increased his inventory to accommodate the demand.
After a few years, Bill and Linda's 2 acres of manicured lawn was covered in a sea of golf cars. It was time to separate business and home, so in 1991 LeisureTime Golf Cars moved to its current 32,000 square foot facility on Hwy 63 South of New Hampton, Iowa.
